Introduction

Move serious power into your aux battery bank with the REDARC BCDC Classic50. This in-vehicle 12V, 50A DC charger keeps you charged while you drive and from solar when youre parked, making it ideal for big touring setups and high-demand fridges, inverters and lighting. Its built for under-bonnet life with sealed, potted electronics that shrug off heat, dust and water.

The Classic50 pairs an MPPT solar regulator with Green Power Priority, so it uses available solar first and eases the load on your alternator. It works on 12V and 24V vehicles, including smart/variable-voltage alternators, and its tuned for modern chemistries including LiFePO4, as well as AGM, Gel, Calcium and standard lead-acid. A refined SoftStart stage and REDARCs proven charge profiles deliver a proper, gentle ramp and a full state of charge.

As a guide, choose the BCDC1250D for lead-acid banks over 200Ah or lithium banks over 100Ah. For smaller systems (75200Ah), the BCDC1225D is the better match.

• Lead-acid banks: typically >200Ah

• Lithium (LiFePO4): typically >100Ah
